چکیده

As a quasiparticle formed by light and excitons in semiconductors, the exciton polariton (EP) as quantum bus is promising for development of interconnect devices at room temperature. However, significant damping EPs material generally causes loss information. We propose mechanism to overcome destructive effect EP on its mediated correlation dynamics emitters (QEs). Via an investigation near-field coupling between two QEs monolayer ${\mathrm{MoS}}_{2}$ nanodisk, we find that, with complete dissipation efficiently avoided, persistent can be generated stabilized even their steady state. This due fact upon decreasing QE-${\mathrm{MoS}}_{2}$ distance, become so hybridized that one or bound states are them. Our result supplies useful way avoid impact damping, it refreshes our understanding light-matter interaction absorbing medium.

Quantum emitters near a metal nanoparticle: strong coupling and quenching.

We investigate the interplay between quenching and strong coupling in systems that include a collection of quantum emitters interacting with a metal nanoparticle. By using detailed numerical simulations and analytical modeling, we demonstrate that quantum emitters can exhibit strong coupling with the particle dipole resonance at distances at which the quenching to nonradiative channels is expec...

Polariton dynamics under strong light-molecule coupling.

We present a comprehensive experimental study of the photophysical properties of a molecule-cavity system under strong coupling conditions, using steady-state and femtosecond time-resolved emission and absorption techniques to selectively excite the lower and upper polaritons as well as the reservoir of uncoupled molecules. Our results demonstrate the complex decay routes in such hybrid systems...

Observation of half-quantum vortices in an exciton-polariton condensate.

Singly quantized vortices have already been observed in many systems, including the superfluid helium, Bose-Einstein condensates of dilute atomic gases, and condensates of exciton-polaritons in the solid state. Two-dimensional superfluids carrying spin are expected to demonstrate a different type of elementary excitations referred to as half-quantum vortices, characterized by a pi rotation of t...

Observations of exciton-surface plasmon polariton coupling and exciton-phonon coupling in InGaN/GaN quantum wells covered with Au, Ag, and Al films.

The coupling of excitons to surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) and longitudinal optical (LO) phonons in Au-, Ag-, and Al-coated InxGa1-xN/GaN multiple and single quantum wells (SQWs) was studied with time-resolved cathodoluminescence (CL) and CL wavelength imaging techniques. Excitons were generated in the metal-coated SQWs by injecting a pulsed high-energy electron beam through the thin metal f...

Chiral Modes at Exceptional Points in Exciton-Polariton Quantum Fluids.

We demonstrate the generation of chiral modes-vortex flows with fixed handedness in exciton-polariton quantum fluids. The chiral modes arise in the vicinity of exceptional points (non-Hermitian spectral degeneracies) in an optically induced resonator for exciton polaritons. In particular, a vortex is generated by driving two dipole modes of the non-Hermitian ring resonator into degeneracy. Tran...
